While over 90% of aftermarket manufacturers use T-3303 aluminum because it’s cheaper and more readily available, it comes with significant drawbacks—poor polishing, softness, susceptibility to scratches and corrosion, and inferior heat dissipation. Prolonged use of a T-3303 aluminum radiator under high pressure and temperature can quickly lead to leaks. For a reliable radiator replacement, especially in Chevy radiators like the Chevy Silverado radiators, upgrading to our AA5052 aluminum radiators is a smarter choice.
