The core of this radiator is welded in a vacuum brazing furnace, with no epoxy. The Radiator is 100% welded by TIG. Stronger and higher Capacity for Coolant than OEM units, Made of High-Quality AA5052 Aircraft Grade Aluminum Construction。
This Aircraft Grade Aluminum radiator is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency to prevent premature engine failure. Its lightweight, and high-heat transferring Aircraft Grade Aluminum features a tube and fin design that, dramatically increases surface area enabling the heat to dissipate more efficiently. This High-Quality Aluminum Radiator is at least 35% to 45% more efficient than stock ones. Most importantly, it has a much higher capacity for coolant than stock ones, which means that your cooling system will be more efficient and will be more resistant to temperature surges in racing applications.
1. This radiator is constructed from AA5052 aircraft aluminum, a material with magnesium as its major alloying element. This choice imparts greater strength and superior corrosion resistance, even in saltwater environments.
2. The core of This radiator boasts a higher density, with cooling rows spaced just 3/8" apart. This design provides 25% more rows within the core compared to other aluminum radiators commonly available.
3. Featuring 14-16 cooling fins per inch, our radiator incorporates approximately 1500 more cooling fins than competing aluminum radiators. The core efficiency of AA5052 aluminum radiators can be enhanced by adjusting the tube spacing and fin count. When tubes are placed closer together, and fins are tightly packed, a denser core is created, dissipating significantly more heat. In a high-efficiency core, tubes are centered at 3/8" intervals, and fin counts are increased to 14 to 16 fins per inch. This seemingly subtle adjustment results in a substantial increase in surface area. Combined with the additional fins between the tubes, this configuration delivers approximately 30% to 45% better cooling performance than the OEM radiator.
